So far this year a number of vessels equipped with TTS RoRo equipment have been delivered. From the Korean yards two PCTC have been delivered, one to Hoegh Autoliners and to Liberty Maritime. In addition, the first ever built car carrier in Vietnam has been delivered, the NYK operated car carrier Victory Leader, ordered and owned by Ray Shipping is also equipped with Cargo Access Equipment from TTS. The Vietnamese built car carrier is of a new design developed especially to be built in Vietnam. The vessel has 11 decks for loading of car of which two are liftable. The car capacity is about 4,900 cars.
From the European horizon another two RoRo vessels have been delivered, Flensburger has delivered another RoRo vessel in the series of six for Cobelfret and NCA in Italy the seventh in series of RoRo’s to Grimaldi, all equipped by TTS.
The Cobelfret vessels are equipped with a wide stern ramp covering access to main deck as well as to upper deck. In addition, a side hinged ramp cover is closing the main deck above the fixed ramp down to tank top.
The Italian RoRo’s for Grimaldi have two stern ramps, the wider for access to main deck and the smaller for access to upper deck. The fixed ramp to tank top is covered by end hinged ramp cover.
In addition, several conversion projects have been finalized, among others, one new side ramp have been installed in an existing rail ferry for Scandlines and a reinforcement project of the bow arrangement for a French RoPax vessel .
